Dear ONs,
In continuation of the celebrations of the Diamond Jubilee Celebrations we are organizing the ONA SAMMAN SAMROH (First Edition) for the Founder and Early Years Teachers and selected Non-teaching staff (Covering the period 1960-1970) on 21st Nov 2020 at The Yadvindra Gardens, Pinjore, Chandigarh-Shimla Highway as per program given below.

1. What is ONA SAMMAN SAMROH?

The teachers play a vital role in our lives especially in boarding schools where they have a sterling role to play in shaping our lives.
It is felt, that now that we are in the Diamond jubilee year it is high time to remember our teachers and show our gratitude to them. Unfortunately, some of them are not amongst us anymore. If we don’t remember them and recognize their role in our life they will be forgotten and fade away from the memories of many. Also, it is intended to start this practice so that in the years to come the Alumni organizes such functions to pay their gratitude to their own sets of teachers. Presently there exists a system in the school of awarding a LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD to one Living teacher every year. To date, only 6 teachers have been awarded the same. It is strongly felt that the maximum of our teachers are doing a wonderful job and hence it is unfair to reward only a few.
It was therefore considered appropriate that the ONA takes on the responsibility to fill this gap.
ONA SAMMAN SAMROH is therefore the recognition of our teachers for their contribution in transforming us into what we are today.
In the first edition of the ONA SAMMAN SAMROH, we propose to felicitate approx. 45 teachers and Non-teaching staff of the period 1960-1970.
You and your spouse are cordially invited to attend the function as a life member of the ONA.

Invites have been sent to the ONs identified, mainly of 1960-70 vintage and ex ONA office bearers, present and ex-BOG members, Present Headmaster, Deputy headmaster and the Bursar. Also invited are the Ex Headmasters in the Tri-city.
