Amritsar Chapter of ONA is one of the oldest active Chapters. It is small but very strong. They have helped the cause of The PPS with donations (Regular Creative writing workshops for students)etc and the ONA (sponsorship of events). When the School faced the Temple issue ,the members of this Chapter filed a writ in High Court which was of course turned down on the ground that Government was seized of the matter.) About 30 Old Nabhaites gathered to honour : Gen P Sandhu (J-262, 1976) , GOC Amritsar Area and JPS Aulakh , Commissioner of Police, Amritsar. Harpartap Singh (B-45,1967), MLA of Ajnala graced the occasion. It was attended by following ,among others.
